SCOPE OF WORK COMPLETED - COMPLETE REMANUFACTURE - 2019

I) REBUILD SCOPE

1) WORK AT OUR PLANT
(1) Disassemble complete.
(2) Clean all parts and crack check
(3) Advise Customer of any additional findings.

2) CROWN
(1) Clean and inspect
(2) Replace lube lines as required
(3) Clean and paint
(4) Prep for assembly

3) UPRIGHTS
(1) Clean prep and paint

4) MAIN GIB’S
1) Clean gib’s and paint hand stone machined surfaces.

5) AUXILARY GIB’S
(1) Clean gib’s and hand stone machined surfaces.
(2) Prep for reassembly

6) TIE ROD’S
(1) Clean and test fit to nuts

7) BOLSTER
(1) Can be machined if required but Customer to supply Print
(2) Pricing determined at time of print release to MPA

8) BED
(1) Clean Prep and paint
(2) Drill and Tap return holes in bed for coolant

9) CLUTCH/BRAKE
(1) Machine friction surfaces to minimum clean up complete.
(2) Realign plates
(3) Install new studs
(4) Rebuild Brake and install new seals and dump valve.
(5) Order new Springs nuts seals

10) FLYWHEEL
(1) MPA to replace the bearings with new
(2) Trim inner spacer as required to obtain .005-.007 running clearance.

11) SLIDE
(1) Set slide up on mill, cut gib surfaces and slide face to minimum clean up flat, parallel and perpendicular with each other.
(2) Machine nut seats to c/u as required.
(3) Replace worm shaft bearings with MPA provided new.
(4) Replace all cr seals with MPA provided new.
(5) Grind SA nuts to min c/u
(6) Re-machine SA collars to set proper nut clearance in slide
(7) Assemble Slide.
(8) Paint to customer specification.

12) CONNECTION SCREWS
(1) Furnish and install new saddle bushings and test fit.
(2) Polish Threads.
(3) Prep for final assembly.

13) (2) CONNECTIONS
(1) Provide material, manufacture and install (2) new upper connection bushings.
(a) Hone as required.
(2) Install new wrist pin bushings, wrist pins.
(3) Fit as required.
(4) Paint to customer specification.

14) COUNTERBALANCES
(1) Rebuild counterbalances with new perishables.
(2) Test for leaks.
(3) Paint to customer specifications.

15) WINTRISS CONTROL
(1) New floor mounted cabinet with panel mount screen
(2) 8-Channel Cam’s
(3) 8-Channel Die Protection
(4) Counsel mounted run station
(5) 2-Channel Tonnage Monitor

16) Pneumatic system
(1) Furnish and install new QDP valve FRL and all new piping

17) ASSEMBLY
(1) Install S-58 spin on oil system upgrade.
(2) Install new Lube pump
(3) Replace circle seal 65 psi check valve.
(4) Test lube blocks (replacement not included)
(5) Install Gear Clutch and brake complete and grind washers to set clearance (Customer to provide grinder in tool room for washers)
(6) Adjust travel as required and test.
(7) Install Counter balances cylinders
(8) Install slide in press.
(9) Install main gib’s and set
(10) Install Auxiliary gib’s and rough set
(11) Test run press.
(12) Tighten up counter balance mounting bolts during run in to center cylinders (slide to counter balance nuts need to allow float)
(13) Finish set Auxiliary gib’s
(14) Install Bolster
(15) Run press in 4 hours and record

18) TRUCKING
(1) Load on your truck.
